Well, it’s been a while sense I last posted any thing. It’s not because I haven’t been busy, I’ve definitly been busy. For the last four weeks I’ve been working as a new software developer and have been learning a lot. I almost feel like my head is going to explode with all the new information I’ve been taking in. Either way, I’m definitly liking the new position.
The weekends have been busy too. The wife and I went to Calistoga for a friends wedding and we stayed at the Chanric Inn. The Chanric Inn was the bomb. It was definitely worth the money. We had a top notch breakfast each morning, a great room, and a peaceful atmospher. The following weekend we went to Monterey Bay for Lauren’s 25th birthday. The next weekend we went to a family reunion in Oakdale. It was nice to see all my third and fourth cousins I have not seen in more than 20 year. Wait! I don’t remember half of them. I also played a round of golf at Anchol Hoffman with Scanlon. Now that was a good day. I only shoot a 102, but Scanlon was on fire, hitting a 81. We actually played at Woodcreek a few weekend earlier and I hit a 98.
Anyway, I’ve also been playing with my iPhone and have opened ssh and started installing third party applications. The NES emulator is pretty kewl, but the iPhone installer application has to be the best app so far. It’s not the installer that’s kewl, it’s the fact that I can now install applications live on the phone. The installer app allows you to download a new or updated application and then it installs it for you. It’s nice because all the third party apps are being updated days and sometimes hourly. The installer app allows me to keep my apps up-to-date. I’ll post more about it later.
Anyway, I need to get to bed, I have another escalation to work on tomorrow and I have to get up at 5 am to continue my workout regiment. I’ll again post soon.
