I received an email today from my fraternity’s National Headquarters. They have teamed up with another company named Affinity Engines and have created a site called the Pike InCircle. I’m liking what they have created. It’s basically a MySpace for Pike Brothers. My girlfriend is a MySpace junky, something that I will never be. I’m sure Affinity Engines has a pre-scripted engine that they can modify/customize for other groups or organizations (that’s how they make money). Either way, I’m amazed at how nice the interface is and the different features of the site. Besides storing your personal information and uploading a profile picture, users can create photo albums to share with friends, create groups, contact other users, invite friends (add friends), create blogs, and add their RSS feeds as their blog (that’s what I’m doing). Anyway, if you’re a Pike, check it out and add me as a friend.
